Narthex Addition and Improvements

St. Peter the Apostle needs an indoor space for parishioners to gather before and after Mass that is separate from the Sanctuary, which should remain serene and thus respect the sanctity of the Mass. The proposed Narthex addition will serve as the main entrance of the church, keeping the Sanctuary quiet and connecting to the parish center.

In addition to the Narthex project, the following improvements will be covered by this campaign:

• Relocation of choir to create a center aisle

• Reconfiguration of Sanctuary to provide additional seating

• Relocation of restrooms to a more appropriate location

• Added access to cry room from new Narthex

• Overhaul of existing audio equipment

• Remodeling of Altar to provide enclosure for the Tabernacle

• Construction of a bell tower on the south side of new Narthex
