St. Teresa of Calcutta Adoration Chapel is now open 24 hours a day, with the exception of 6:00 am to 1:00 pm on Sundays.

For those of you who frequently “stop by” the St. Teresa of Calcutta Perpetual Adoration Chapel for quiet time in prayer before Jesus in the Holy Eucharist, we humbly ask that you consider dedicating one hour per week in this prayerful, much needed ministry of adoration.  Not only does Jesus invite you to “be with him in prayer", he is asking you to unite your prayers with him, to the Father, for your brothers and sisters in your parish, your families, your neighborhood, at work and in the world.

The Adoration Chapel at St Peter the Apostle is in the final phase of preparation to begin 24-hour Perpetual Adoration. The number of individuals seeking to participate is near its goal. We will begin once we have the time slots filled. Please continue to spread the word to friends and family members. Sign-Up Sheets are on the tables at the rear of the church.  You may also sign-up for 1 hour per week day or night on the link below. For further information please call Dcn. We are in particular need of volunteers for Saturdays, 5-6PM. 

Reminder to All Scheduled Adorers of Holy Eucharist
 
Jesus is truly present in the Holy Eucharist during Adoration Hours. Someone must be present in the adoration chapel whenever a consecrated host is in the monstrance on the altar.
 
Please Remember: When you are unable to be at your personal hour for adoration please do the following:
 

• Make arrangements with others and plan to have someone substitute for you when you know you are unable to be present.
• Let the other person(s) who is assigned to that same hour as yourself, know you will not be present and ask them if they will be there.
•  If the other person(s) cannot be present in your absence, then you must find a substitute.

 
Please do this as soon as possible. Do not wait till the last minute to find someone. Finding someone at the last minute is very difficult and sometimes impossible.
 
There are “substitution lists” at the back of the Adoration Chapel. Please take one and keep it available for those times you cannot be present.
 
Only contact your shift leader in case of true unexpected absences such as: medical emergencies, transportation emergencies, personal or family emergencies.

Recordatorio a todos los adoradores programados de la Santa Eucaristía
Jesús está verdaderamente presente en la Santa Eucaristía durante las horas de adoración. Alguien debe estar presente en la capilla de la adoración siempre que un anfitrión consagrado esté en la custodia en el altar.
Por favor recuerde: cuando usted no puede estar a su hora personal para la adoración por favor haga lo siguiente:

1. Haga arreglos con otros y planee que alguien lo reemplace cuando sepa que no puede estar presente.
2. Deje que la otra persona que está asignada a esa misma hora como usted, sepa que no estará presente y pregúnteles si estarán allí.
3. Si la otra persona(s) no pueden estar presente en su ausencia, entonces Debes encontrar un sustituto.

Por favor, hágalo lo antes posible. No espere hasta el último minuto para encontrar a alguien. Encontrar a alguien en el último minuto es muy difícil y a veces imposible.
Hay "listas de sustitución" en la parte posterior de la capilla de la adoración. Por favor tome uno y manténgalo disponible para aquellos tiempos que usted no puede estar presente.
Sólo comuníquese con su líder de turno en caso de ausencias inesperadas tales como: emergencias médicas, emergencias de transporte, emergencias personales o familiares.
